I haven't gone for a run since a couple of months after I got pregnant so, clearly, this isn't about me being in the run!
This morning, before heading out to my second of 2 baby showers this week, the whole family headed to the Glebe to see a friend and coworker doing to half marathon (or, as my friend said, "only" doing the half marathon like it isn't really an accomplishment). We waited and waited and cheered, watched dogs and police officers on motorcycles and finally decided that we probably missed them. Then we saw my friend running along. She didn't see us because she was in the zone but she was doing great. We missed the husband's coworker somehow (he had to have passed while we were there but must have gone in a big pack) but they both finished in less than 2 hours.
