Lesson for Wednesday: Cooking and reading don't work together

Maybe it seems obvious to some people but when you're just stirring vegetables in a frying pan for a really long time because your husband likes them cooked really, really well, it gets boring. So I read. It actually worked remarkably well except when I had to turn the page and instead of grabbing the wooden spoon, I grabbed the hot pan. Ouch. Okay, so I did this over and over again. You know what, I'll probably do it again too.
